Yue Guang Bai "Moonlight White" (w/bio)

Yue Guang Bai is een zeer bijzondere thee, zowel het uiterlijk van de droge thee als de infusie in de kop. De ene zijde van het blad is wit, de andere zwart.

De thee wordt vroeg in het voorjaar geplukt, en in de nacht ("Moonlight White") licht verwelkt en dan gedroogd met warme lucht die door het blad wordt geleid.

De infusie heeft de kleur van een lichte 'zwarte oolong'. De smaak is verrassend veelzijdig, zoet en moutig, maar ook bloemig en fris, met een duidelijk Yunnan karakter. Er zijn elementen van witte, oolong en zwarte thee aanwezig.
